NutriCheck offers subscription-based premium features through the Apple App Store. This policy outlines our refund and cancellation procedures in compliance with Apple's policies and consumer protection laws.

2. Subscription Management

All subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID:

  • Purchase: Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store
  • Billing: Charges appear on your Apple ID payment method
  • Management: View and manage subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime through your Apple ID settings

3. Cancellation Process

To cancel your NutriCheck subscription:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device
  2. Tap your name at the top of the screen
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Find and tap "NutriCheck"
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"
  6. Confirm your cancellation

Important:

You must cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Refund Availability

Refunds are available under the following circumstances:

  • Technical Issues: App doesn't function as described due to technical problems
  • Billing Errors: Incorrect charges or duplicate billing
  • Accidental Purchases: Unintended subscription activation
  • Service Unavailability: App becomes unavailable in your region
  • Valid Complaints: Legitimate service-related issues

4.2 Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Contact Us First: Email nutricheck.business@gmail.com with your issue
  2. Provide Details: Include your Apple ID, purchase date, and reason for refund
  3. Allow Resolution Time: We'll attempt to resolve the issue within 48 hours
  4. Apple Refund Request: If unresolved, we'll guide you through Apple's refund process

4.3 Apple's Refund Process

Since purchases are made through Apple, refunds are ultimately processed by Apple:

  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Sign in with your Apple ID
  • Find your NutriCheck purchase
  • Select "Request a refund"
  • Choose your reason and submit the request

5. Refund Timeframes

Refund processing times:

  • Our Response: We respond to refund requests within 24-48 hours
  • Apple Processing: Apple typically processes refunds within 3-5 business days
  • Payment Method: Refunds appear on your original payment method within 5-10 business days
  • Bank Processing: Your bank may take additional time to process the refund

6. What Happens After Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Immediate Effect: No new charges will occur
  • Access Period: You retain premium access until the end of your current billing period
  • Feature Limitation: Premium features become unavailable after the period ends
  • Data Retention: Your local data remains on your device
  • Resubscription: You can resubscribe anytime to regain premium access

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds may not be available for:

  • Change of mind after using premium features
  • Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle
  • Requests made more than 90 days after purchase
  • Violations of our Terms of Service
  • Misuse of the app or its features

8. Free Trial Cancellations

If we offer free trials:

  • Cancel anytime during the trial period to avoid charges
  • Cancellation must occur at least 24 hours before trial expiration
  • Premium features remain available until trial expiration
  • No charges apply if cancelled during the trial period

9. Consumer Rights

This policy doesn't affect your statutory consumer rights, including:

  • Rights under consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction
  • Apple's standard refund policies and procedures
  • Rights to dispute charges with your payment provider
  • Legal remedies available under applicable laws
